The three women and the elderly

في يوم من الأيام خرجت امراة من منزلها صباحا فرأت ثلاثة شيوخ ذوى لحية بيضاء طويلة جالسين في فناء منزلها و هي لا تعرفهم و قالت في نفسها : من هؤلاء الشيوخ لا اظنني اعرفهم و لكن لابد انهم جوعي . توجهت المرأة اليهم و قالت لهم بابتسامة ترحيب :
تفضلوا بالدخول حتى اقدم لكم الطعام . ردوا عليها اذن لا يمكننا الدخول حتى ياتي الزوج و في المساء عندما عاد زوجها من العمل اخبرته ما حدث فقال لها اذهبی و ادعوهم للدخول لتناول الطعام فخرجت المرأة و دعتهم للدخول فردو رد غريب جدا ! قالو لها لا نستطيع أن ندخل المنزل مجتمعين إسالتهم المرأة : ولكن لماذا ؟ فشرح لها احدهم قائلا أن هذا الشيخ اسمه الثروة و اشار الى احد اصدقائة و هذا النجاح و اشار الى اخر و انا المحبة و اكمل كلامة قائلا و الان ادخلى و تناقشى مع زوجك و اساليهم من منا تريدان أن يدخل منزلكم ؟
إدخلت المرأة متعجبة الى زوجها و اخبرته ما قالة الرجل فغمرته السعادة و قال لها يالنا من سعداء الحظ فلندعو الثروة حتى تدخل بيتنا ارجعي و دعيه للدخول حتى يملئ منزلنا ثراء و اموال . خالفته الزوجة الرای قانلا و لم لا ندعو النجاح . دار هذا الحديث على مسمع من ابنهم و هو في احد زوايا المنزل الذي قال مسرعا اليس من الافضل ان تدعو المحبة فمنزلنا حينها سوف يمتلئ بالحب و الود . قال الأب دعونا ناخد بنصيحة ابننا .
أخرجی و ادعي المحبة ليكون هو ضيفنا . خرجت المراه و دعت المحبة للمنزل وبالفعل نهض المحبة و بدا بالسير نحو المنزل فتبعه فورا الثروة و النجاح نظرت اليهم المراة باندهاش و قالت و لكننی دعوت المحبة فقط فلماذا تدخلان معه ؟ رد الشيخان بابتسامة : لو كنت دعوت أو (النجاح) لظل الإثنان الباقيان خارجأ، ولكن كونك دعوت المحبة فأينما يذهب نذهب معه .. أينما توجد المحبة، يوجد الثراء والنجاح!

A young Man had been caught in a daring act of theft and had been condemned to be executed for it. He expressed his desire to see his mother, and to speak with her before he was led to execution, and of course this was granted.
When his Mother came to him he said: “I want to whisper to you,” and when she brought her ear near him, he nearly bit it off. All the bystanders were horrified, and asked him what he could mean by such brutal and inhuman conduct. “It is to punish her,” he said. “When I was young I began with stealing little things, and brought them home to Mother. على شاب يقوم بعملية سرقة جريئة وحكم عليه بالإعدام، فعبر عن ألقي القبض رغبته برؤية أمه والتكلم إليها قبل أن يساق للإعدام، فتم تلبية طلبه و عندما جاءت أمه قال لها: “أريد أن أهمس لك بشيء” وعندما دنت بأذنها منه كان على وشك اقتلاعها .

THE WOODMAN AND THE SERPENT
One wintry day a Woodman was tramping home from his work when he saw something black lying on the snow. When he came closer he saw it was a Serpent to all appearance dead. But he took it up and put it in his bosom to warm while he hurried home. As soon as he got indoors he put the Serpent down on the hearth before the fire.
The children watched it and saw it slowly come to life again. Then one of them stooped down to stroke it, but the Serpent raised its head and put out its fangs and was about to sting the child to death. So the Woodman seized his axe, and with one stroke cut the Serpent
in two. “Ah,” said he, “No gratitude from the wicked.”

راقبها الأولاد وهي تعود للحياة شيئا فشيء، ثم انحني أحدهم عليها ليداعبها بيده لكن الأفعی رفعت رأسها وأخرجت مخالبها وكانت على وشك أن تلدغ الولد لدغة قاتلة عندما أمسك الحطاب بفأسه وبضربة واحدة قطعها إلى قسمين قائلا :لا عرفان بالجميل من اللئيم.

So every night she used to comb his hair and pick out the white ones. But the elder Wife saw her husband growing grey with great pleasure, for she did not like to be mistaken for his mother. A BAD DAY AT THE OFFICE
Mr. Blaine is the president of the Acme Insurance Company. His company is very large and always very busy. Mr. Blaine has a staff of energetic employees who work for him. Unfortunately, all of his employees are out today.
Nobody is there. As a result, Mr. Blaine is doing everbody’s job, and he’s having a very bad day at the office! He’s answering the telephone because the receptionist who usually answers it is at the dentist’s office. He’s typing letters because the secretary who usually types them is at home in bed with the flu.
He’s operating the computer because the computer programmer who usually operates it is on vacation. He’s even fixing the radiator because the custodian who usually fixes it is on strike. Poor Mr. Blaine! It’s a very busy day at the Acme Insurance Company, and nobody is there to help him. He’s having a very bad day at the office!

There was a boy who was always losing his temper. On the first day he hammered in 37 nails, but getting the nails into the fence was not easy, so he started trying to control himself when he got. As the days went by, he was hammering in less nails, and within weeks he was able to control himself and was able to refrain from getting and from hammering nails.
He came to his father and told him what he had achieved. بتنفيذ نصيحة والده … فدق في اليوم الأول ۳۷ مسمارة ، ولكن إلخال المسمار في السياج لم يكن سهلا . فبدأ يحاول تمالك نفسه عند الغضب ، وبعدها وبعد مرور أيام كان يدق مسامير أقل ، وفي أسابيع تمكن من ضبط نفسه ، وتوقف عن الغضب وعن دق المسامير ، فجاء والده وأخبره بإنجازه ففرح الأب بهذا التحول ، وقال له :
ولكن عليك الآن يا بني استخراج مسمار لكل يوم يمر عليك لم تغضب فيه. وبدأ الولد من جديد بخلع المسلمير في اليوم الذي لا يغضب فيه حتى انتهى من المسامير في السياج . فجاء إلى والده وأخبره بانجازه مرة أخرى ، فأخذه والده إلى السياج وقال له :
يا بني أحسنت صنعا ، ولكن انظر الآن إلى تلك الثقوب في السياج ، هذا السياج لن يكون كما كان أبدأ ، وأضاف : عندما تقول أشياء في حالة الغضب فإنها تترك آثارة مثل هذه الثقوب في نفوس الأخرين. تستطيع أن تطعن الإنسان وتخرج السكين ولكن لا يهم كم مرة تقول : أنا آسف لأن الجرح سيظل هناك.

Two Friends & The Bear
Vijay and Raju were friends. On a holiday they went walking into a forest, enjoying the beauty of nature. Suddenly they saw a bear coming at them.
They became frightened.Raju, who knew all about climbing trees, ran up to a tree and climbed up quickly. He didn’t think of Vijay. Vijay had no idea how to climb the tree.Vijay thought for a second.
He’d heard animals don’t prefer dead bodies, so he fell to the ground and held his breath. The bear sniffed him and thought he was dead. So, it went on its way.Raju asked Vijay; “What did the bear whisper into your ears?Vijay replied, “The bear asked me to keep away from friends like you” …and went on his way.
