And if you are not able to do so then bear in mind that your life might just end up being a book of constant setbacks in a vicious cycle with no end in sight.

واعلم أن عجزك عن القيام بذلك يجعل حياتك كتاباً صفحاته مليئة بالنكسات تلو النكسات وكأنك تدور في حلقة مفرغة لا نهاية لها.

عندما أتعلم لغة جديدة أحس بقلبي وهو يتحول إلى عصفور يطير مستقيما سريعا إلى الجنة؛ فمثل هذه السعادة التي تقتحمني اقتحاما تجعلني أرتفع ارتفاعا حتى أبلغ آفاق ما كان لي أن أراها لولا وجود اللغات وغموضها الساحر.

That is how language has now become a living being with whom I am willing to swim along using all my strength. And if it were to drown I am willing to drown as well using all my will, for language is the source of my happiness and the harbour of my dreams.

As the waves stir up under my boat fear in my heart is replaced by panic. In such a desolate state my view of life becomes pale and my present and future clouded by sudden and fateful peril. إذا أردت أن يكون لحياتك معنى ابحث عن الحب لا بقلبك فقط بل بعقلك أيضا وسترى السعادة يوما أمام عينك كأنه طرف يدك.
